Vineyard Tour

Visit the two acre vineyard at Sunrock Farm and learn about the grapes and wines of Germany. The early settlers came from the Rhine Valley and continued their grape growing and wine making traditions in America. Visit the farm wine cellar and see why storing wine in oak barrels and aging wine improves its quality.

Who are the Amish, why and when did the leave German speaking Europe to settle in America? What type of German do they still speak among themselves. Why do they farm with horses and shun the use of electricity? Do the farm chores in the Amish manner
